As part of this new chapter in my life, I’m back to working on my lifelong love: musical theater. Here’s the update: I am currently in development on two new musicals with theatrical producer Christine Russell, executive producer of the Tony Award-winning show Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and lead producer of the Broadway musical, Head Over Heels(featuring the music of The Go-Go’s).
Yes, It’s been too long. I’ve been busy healing. I have been on an unimaginable journey but I’m at the other side now (of the hardest part). I’m full of gratitude and energy. My creative moments took a pause for about a year but I’m back. So here is my update: “Tinseltown Tip Toe” and another secret musical project I’m working on are going full steam ahead. There will be more to share about that in the near future. I have my annual Holiday show coming up at the HOTEL CAFE ON DEC. 14, 2019 8PM. I’m super excited about that. My band is awesome. Yes, they really are. I’m my usual, overly outgoing, musical theater self. Oh wait, I’m a blonde now. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep it this way but I’m enjoying it. Also, I’ll be shooting a pilot for my new variety show in the new year. Who knows where that will lead but I have to give it a try because I’ve been talking about it for years. I’m not the all talk type. Action! Last but not least- I’ve been meditating a ton. It changes everything inside me for the better. I love how it makes me feel.
OK. That’s all for now. I know I didn’t go deep here. My intention was to check in and catch you up on my happenings. I hope you can make it to my show..and if not maybe I’ll see you at the next one.
Happy Holidays everyone. I wish you all so much love and blessings. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for your love and support. It means the world to me.

“The Show Must Go On” is one of my new musicals. Story by Heather Reid & Nicholas Coster, Book by Nicholas Coster and Music & Lyrics by Heather Reid (yours truly). I am very excitied about exploring this project. The audition process went very well. I’m looking forward to our upcoming equity work-shop leading to a staged reading this June. It’s just the beginning. We are so grateful to have found a brilliant cast of seriously talented actors/singers. Jesse Bush will be directing and Nicholas Connell is our musical director along with Sharon Eisman casting director/producer extraordinaire. It’s all about enjoying the journey. I most certainly am.
Live at The Hotel Cafe on December 16, 2017.
My home away from home..but in my home. The recording studio.
I’m not laughing at you in this photo (taken by one of my dearest friends, Katherine Butler). I’m laughing with you and at myself. Thank you for exploring my new website filled with lots of memories and my latest and hopefully greatest musical creations. I have an attic filled with career memorabilia and a new console in my recording studio ready for some hummable melodies to be created. Let’s go.
